Lead Teacher

Job Description

Responsibilities
  •     Develop and implement core curriculum
  •     Design and plan class format, sequence, and schedules
  •     Develop and manage learning activities bank
  •     Teach classes on a regular basis
  •     Manage learning resources and materials
  •     Continuously reflect and evaluate classes for improvement
  •     Run ongoing internal evaluation and review sessions
  •     Attend to parents enquiries and feedback
  •     Develop and train teaching teams
  •     Conduct induction, workshops and developmental training
  •     Manage open houses and orientation programs
  •     Assist in program communication and marketing
  •     Assist in venue acquisition, site inspection and preparations

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in relevant field(s) plus teaching qualification
  • Strong knowledge of early years educational concepts and frameworks (ie. EYFS, Reggio Emilia, etc)
  • Hands-on experience in early years teaching in a lead or supervisory role
  • Passion for early years education, children, play-based learning, and outdoor learning
  • Strong managerial, organizational, and critical/analytical thinking skills
  • Strong writing and verbal skills with a positive personality
